El Gouna is a picturesque town that was founded in 1989. It is located 25 km from Hurghada, Egypt. You can get here by direct flight from Europe in about 4 hours. At that time there was only one hotel with several villas.

SPOT
Huge shallow area of crystal water for kiting, 2-3 km long and approx. 1 km wide up to the reef. This is our spot. Beyond the reef, there are other shallows for beautiful trips. The bottom is sandy without dangerous corals.
The water depth depends on the tide, which is 40-70 cm. At maximum low tide, you can also kite near the beach, but you have to walk about 30-50 m, then there is water everywhere. At maximum tide, the water is up to the chest. Our spot is the most suitable in El Gouna for hydrofoil and wingfoiling.
